IP Telephones - Unprogrammed

Shows you the IP telephones that have not yet been assigned or programmed in Multiline IP Sets or User and Services Configuration form along with information concerning their status plus their hardware and software version. Name

System-generated, protected field. Identifies the telephone user.

Number

System-generated, protected field. Identifies the telephone directory number.

Device ID

System-generated, protected field. Identifies the IP telephone.

Device Type

System-generated, protected field. Identifies the telephone type.

NOTE: An unprogrammed 5324 IP Phone will display as a 5224 IP Phone in this form until the 5324 completes registration.

Device Description

System-generated, protected field. Applies to SIP devices only. Displays information from the “User-Agent” header in the SIP REGISTER message received when the device registers with MiVoice Business.

State

System-generated, protected field. Identifies the telephones that are connected to the LAN but not programmed.

Registration Reason

System-generated, protected field. Identifies the last registration reason message the ICP received from the phone.

The registration reason field can have the following values:

  • Start: the telephone has registered successfully with the ICP directly after powering up or rebooting.

  • Forced: the telephone was redirected to this ICP by another ICP.

  • Hand Off: the telephone was intentionally handed-off to this ICP by another ICP (for example, due to login or failback).

  • Fail Over: the telephone has lost contact with its previous ICP and has re-homed to this ICP (for example, due to ICP failure, network error, etc.).

  • Network Error: hand off error - ICP unreachable: the phone can't find the ICP to which it was handed off (most probably due to a network error).

  • Network Error: network fail.

  • Network Error: ICP unreachable.

  • Set Error: set generated failure.

  • Set Error: registration fail.

  • Set Error: ACK expiry: there was a communication error between the phone and the ICP.

  • Set Error: PIN timeout.

  • SSL Retry: set registered on non-SSL port and asked to re-register

  • System Error: ICP generated failure.

  • System Error: hand off error - no DB entry.

  • System Error: hand off error - set type mismatch.

  • Unknown.

MAC Address

System-generated, protected field. Displays the hardware address that uniquely identifies the IP telephone.

IP Address

System-generated, protected field. Displays the IP Address (IPv4 or IPv6) reported by the device.

Subnet

The subnet IP address (IPv4) of the end point as reported the device.

Default Gateway

The IP address (IPv4) of the first target gateway involved in the voice stream as reported by the device.

Voice Quality Statistics Enabled

This field indicates if voice quality statistics reporting is enabled for a given IP end point.

Primary ICP

System-generated, protected field. Displays the name or IP address of the telephone's local controller in a single-node environment or its Primary controller (if programmed in the Network Elements form) in a resilient environment.

If neither the name nor IP address is available, "Unknown" displays, indicating a problem with the controller. Check the Warning Maintenance logs for possible causes.

Secondary ICP

System-generated, protected field. Applies to resilient environments only; the field is blank for single-node environments and for non-resilient telephones (i.e., telephones without an entry in the Remote Directory Numbers form.)

If neither the name nor IP address is available, "Unknown" displays, indicating a problem with the controller. Check the Warning Maintenance logs for possible causes.

Hardware Version

The hardware version of the selected phone.

Software Version

The software version of the selected phone.
